To be considered for a David DeGiorgio/Ogden Trentini scholarship, a student must meet the following criteria:
Be a member of Ogden Trentini or have a parent or guardian who is a member of Ogden Trentini.
Not a member? See Annette DeGiorgio today.
Be enrolled in an US accredited institution of higher education for the Fall of 2023.
Have a grade-point average of at least 3.0 out of 4.0 (or the equivalent). Students that are a part of a pass/fail system are also welcome to apply.
Be a United States citizen or a permanent resident alien.
For the purposes of this Scholarship Program, to be “Italian American” the student must have at least one ancestor who has emigrated from the Trentino area of Italy.
Applications must be complete and include the following:
A complete transcript of the applicant’s high school scholastic record.
A letter of recommendation from a non- relative and one from a relative relating personal attributes and service to school and community.
A personal letter of approximately 150 WORDS explaining applicant’s Italian origin, why the applicant’s Italian heritage is important to him or her and applicant’s plans for the future.
The applicant’s completed packet should be mailed to the Scholarship Committee at 2378 N 720 W, Clinton, Utah 84015, marked to the attention of the Terry Tremea, and must be received no later than August 1, 2023. All applications become the property of the Committee and all information submitted remains CONFIDENTIAL. Scholarship recipients will be notified during the month of September of the current year.
